National Weather Service Forecast for Deep Creek Lake and Garrett County
Conditions: Conditions are great for snowshoeing. 8-16 inch base. Base is hard and topped with some fresh snow 2-4 inches. Superb snowshoeing conditions in the backcountry. Skiing at Wisp excellent.

Forecast:Sunday snow in the morning and a rain snow mix in the afternoon. Snow again next week March 4-5th will make for another excellent weekend March7-8. Mild and nice. High 40 with plenty of snow. Come get a tan snowshoeing.
Long Term Forecast:Spring might spring but we have the snowpack and base for another two-3 weeks of tours. March 13th and 14th might be the last weekend of tours. Come get it while you can.
Snowpack has been amazingly resilent this year- withstanding numerous thaws and freezes and rains and enjoying regular snows. To us it looks like it will survive into March and some March weather forecasts are snowy as usual. Last year we ran our last tour April 12th.
