Our guided hikes are more than just a 'follow me'. Your guide will teach you about local plants, and animals, and the environment, as well as local history and provide information on the local Deep Creek Lake area. Easier walks range in distance from 1 mile to 2 miles, more difficult hikes are a distance of 4-5 miles (2 1/2 - 3 hours of actual hiking). Savage Mountain and Mount Nebo are uphill hikes to mountain tops, Lost Lands and Middle Fork are valley hikes with stream crossings. Family's love the Bears Den.

FUN FOR FAMILES! The River walk is a 4 hour experience but only a 45 minute flat walk (suitable for strollers) to the swimming hole (and 45 minute walk back). Our AMAZEing Bears Den Walk is a very popular and an easy 2 hour experience (only 20 minutes walking each way) to an interesting rock formation (great for families of all ages).
